A presentation of visual work exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and social justice will be followed by a fireside chat between Diana Nucera (Mother Cyborg) and Catherine Griffiths. We will explore art-based, pedagogical, and organizational strategies supporting critical technology engagement. How do we want to live, work, rest, and play with AI in our lives? What is the impact of data-driven technologies on our relationships and communities? Where is the space for regulation, public debate, and protest in determining new technological imaginaries? What is security today? Who is accountable for the results?
